Spirit lead me.....
This may come as a shock to some of you, but hear me out!
Ever since Danniger and I felt The Spirit's call to adopt (9 months ago!) we have been forever changed. We have not only grown closer together, as a couple, but closer to God! I know it's only been a few months, but I already feel that this adventure we've embarked on, has been more of a faith journey than anything else. Through the ups and downs, our Heavenly Father proves to be ever faithful and never changing. The Holy Spirit has completely consumed us, and forever transformed us. And it is our prayer is that He lead us, in everything we do and say, every day, for the rest of our lives. Our purpose in life is to glorify Him. And that His perfect will be done.
That being said.......I've decided to give myself a unique reminder. Something I will see everyday, for as long as I live. Something that will remind me daily to seek Him. "I love those who love Me, and those who seek me diligently, find Me." (Proverbs 8:17) Something that will encourage me daily to ask, that He lead me. "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground." (Psalm 143:10) Something that will, ultimately, bring Him glory. "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (I Corinthians 10:31)
And, who knows.....maybe someday, someone will ask me about it? Maybe one day someone will be curious? Maybe someday God will be working on someone's heart? .......and then I will have the honor (as a servant of the Most High) to tell them about it. After all, God can use anything. "For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37
I'm sure most of you have heard this song before, but do you mind just listening to it again?
Oceans - with lyrics (Hillsong United)
You see.....I didn't do this for me. I'm not hoping to gain any praise or attention from it. I did it for the Lord my God. And it's my prayer that it only brings glory to Him. "May this offering stretch across the skies..." Multiplied (Needtobreathe)
Call me crazy (and maybe I am) but I'm crazy about a God who is full of goodness, love, peace, grace, mercy, patience, compassion, and kindness. Crazy? Maybe. But I'll take it.
Forever inked. Forever His.
